Move-in Kits
The following items will be given to clients who have secured permanent housing during their stay in our shelters, through the support of our staff. You may wish to sponsor a client by donating money designated for client moving into permanent housing, or assembling a kit comprised of the items below:

Unfortunately, BFHP does not have the capacity to take furniture or clothing at our sites donations unless specifically requested.
Current requested clothing/furniture:
new plus-size men's clothing, new size 40 men's pants
Current furniture donations can be dropped off at The Societ of St. Vincent de Paul in Oakland.
Donations to The Society of St. Vincent de Paul directly benefit our clients. Although we cannot accept furniture due to lack of storage space, when a client moves into permanent housing, we distribute gift cards that allow the client to purchase merchandise at the St. Vincent de Paul store. Contact St. Vincent de Paul at 510-638-7600. For credit, when scheduling a pick-up or drop-off of your donation, designate that your donation be credited to BFHP!
